I work as a teacher at primary schools teaching across the year groups and all subjects. I also tutor children and support their learning at school. I have Qualified Teacher Status and am a member of the General Teaching Council for England. I trained at secondary level with English as my specialist subject. I have taught English at key stages 3 & 4, prepared GCSE students for their examinations in English and English Literature and A-Level students in English Language. In addition to this, I taught English as a second language to adult learners in Denmark. I have also been involved with art workshops for children in Australia as a volunteer. My university qualifications include Honours in English literature, a Graduate Diploma in Arts and a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
I became a teacher because I wish to contribute to the important field of education; to share knowledge, to find enjoyment in this process and to help students develop their abilities and talents.
